In the 2024-25 school year, the Government of Manitoba created the Universal School Nutrition
Program. The goal of the program is to provide all public school students with access to
nutritious food, without any barriers.
The department is inviting parents/caregivers and Manitoba youth in Grades 5 to 12 to share
their views on the program. The information and ideas gathered will tell Manitoba Education and
Early Childhood Learning how the program could be improved.
Surveys for both parents/caregivers and students are available at the same link. You will be
directed to the right survey for you when you click on the link below:
Participation is voluntary and all responses will remain confidential.
The deadline to complete and submit the survey is February 13, 2026.
The input of both parents/caregivers and students is very important to the evaluation. Thank you
in advance for your participation!
If you have any questions, please email Samuel Etukakpan of Manitoba Education and Early
Childhood Learning at [email protected].
